Introducing… THE BIG MAN!

Isn’t it funny how that weirdly short and over-enthusiastic guy in a suit, who was specifically hired to power-point his way through what we ‘needed to know’ about Uni, never actually told us what we needed to know.
As a year 13 student, I remember sitting in our school library listening to this little man, and being utterly confused (and also a little pissed off he was talking confusing shit through my lunch break – I had a craving for sushi).

We all sat watching quietly like the good little students we were, as our futures were offered to us on a plate, accompanied by a rather large debt that UoA would rather let Studylink’s little man talk about.

So basically, I am going to be the bigger person who answers the questions that scare the little man:

“Sir, is it true that O’week is an excuse for a sex fueled party-fest that the Uni pays for?”
“Erm… Well I… I wasn’t briefed on this… but it is true you need 360 points to pass a BA!”

Thank you little man, we now know exactly what we were hoping for.

So here are a few things you should know about me, before you start trawling through my excess of thoughts on Uni life.

1. I am aware that the title of this blog is terribly cliche. Maybe I should change it to ‘The Big Man’… Ironic and illusive… Ah shit I can’t change my URL now.
2. I’m a second year Uni Student (at the mo) and I want to be a journalist. Of some sort. Go figure.
3. I will answer any question. That’s the point of this. I know year 13 or even 1st year Uni me would appreciate it.
